Draw the Line is a Center for Reproductive Rights campaign in which people from all walks of life—celebrities, activists, artists, homemakers, business people, anyone who believes in reproductive freedom—stepped off the sidelines to speak out. As phase three of it's roll out, the Design and Communications team re-vitalized its Draw the Line campaign by making it an interactive story-telling campaign.  Working with a small, scrappy inhouse team as the graphic designer, I created the logo, website and branding.

Telling the Real Stories

As the stories of women's experiences rolled in, celebrities came forward to support them and lend their voices to the cause. At the launch of the new website, seven actresses shared real women's stories about the impact of attacks on reproductive healthcare. This helped to elevate the stories but also to equalize them. Whether a celebrity or not, it is clear that all women are gravely effected by restrictions on their reproductive rights and choice.

While the celebrity faces and names helped draw attention to the website and social media we were careful to mix them in with the authentic images of women whose stories had been shared.
